Consider that paper accumulation on floors is easy to slip on, piles of it threaten fire hazards and items left on stairs, are stumbling blocks. Boxes stored in attics, old chemicals, oils, fuels and cleaning products present more fire hazards. Pesticides left in sheds and garages are carcinogenic. Gas appliances and electrical outlets can be faulty. Non-working smoke detectors, carbon monoxide sensors and even whole house security systems can be checked and updated.
This service includes a thorough inspection of the residence, inside and out, identifying potentially dangerous situations and correcting minor issues like battery and light bulb replacement, installing plug- in emergency flashlights, and portable fire extinguishers in kitchen and bedroom.
